The “Passing the Torch” Award was recently given to Board member, Bongi Radebe and Restauranteur Marco Radebe for their Years of Service to A-MAN STEM.

Marco’s African Place Restaurant, in Cape Town, holds a unique piece of history – the wall pictured in the photo behind them is made of bricks from Robben Island, which was home to political prisoners, including the former president Nelson Mandela, during the Apartheid years in pre-democratic South Africa.




Buren High School:

Mr Marwaan Shiri , Principal of Buren High School, is shown here receiving the “Passing the Torch” Award from Prof Hal and Dr Bettye Walker, founders of the Cape Town Space Society, Chapter of the National Space Society.

Buren High School is a public secondary school in Brooklyn, Cape Town and is host to a computer literacy center, in partnership with A-MAN SA, Rotary Clubs local and clubs from around the world.
